The
Toons rare film titles have been gathered from near and far: out-of-print
sources to grey-market importers.
Peter Greenaway's BABY
OF MACON for example never reached these shores so we had to get
it from London.
Our Bigbuster competitor had
an exclusive on Adrian Lyne's LOLITA
and so we had to get it through Canada.
Leos Carax's LOVERS
ON THE BRIDGE was tied up in litigation, Kieslowski's DEKALOG
was being ignored in the US, a better cut of Jodorowsky's EL
TOPO was available overseas, to say nothing of a 3-hour DUNE.
David Lynch's ERASERHEAD
remains out-of-print for some reason, and PRIME
CUT too, okay, less surprisingly. |
